Removable CLEAR PANELS
The most cost-effective way to protect your home is the 0.050 corrugated aluminum panel system. These panels are lightweight, corrosion resistant and easy to install.
The Aluminum .050” has been tested to perform in wind zones in excess of 160mph in accordance with Florida Building Code standards and has also been tested for the use in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone when properly installed.
Negatives are this has to be manually installed and removed, storage space is also required.
Clear Polycarbonate panels meeting the same testing standards are also available which can be used alone or mixed into our patented Clear/Metal/Clear applications which allows you to avoid that closed in “cave” feeling while waiting for the storm to hit and pass.

FAQs
What is the most cost-effective hurricane protection system you offer?
Our 0.050″ corrugated aluminum panel system is the most budget-friendly option currently available on the market for protecting your home. They offer premier structural defense at the lowest price point per square foot.
Are your removable storm panels approved for the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ)?
Yes. Our .050” aluminum panels hold multiple code approvals including Florida Building Code (FBC) HVHZ, FBC Non-HVHZ, and Miami-Dade NOA. They are tested to withstand a 9-lb. large missile impact and perform perfectly in wind zones exceeding 160 mph.
Can I mix aluminum and clear polycarbonate storm panels together?
Absolutely. We often install a custom, patented Clear/Metal/Clear application. By installing ultra-strong Clear Polycarbonate panels in between aluminum panels on your windows, you completely eliminate that dark, claustrophobic “cave” feeling while waiting out a storm.
What track and color options are available for these panels?
We offer multiple track system configurations to seamlessly fit your home’s exterior. Metal panels are available in a classic Mill Finish, Galvanized, White, or Clear options, while the permanently mounted tracks come finished in either White or Bronze.
What are the main drawbacks to choosing a removable panel system?
While they offer unbeatable strength for the price, they must be manually carried, hung, and screwed into place every time a storm approaches. Additionally, because they are rigid panels, you will need to allocate dedicated garage or shed storage space to keep them neatly stacked when they aren’t in use.
